What Lights You Up?

Have you ever wondered what it would actually look like if you were living the life you’ve always dreamed of?

I’ve been on this little journey of self discovery lately.  Being an entrepreneur is mind blowing & can bring up things that you’re forced to confront even if you don’t want to.

I’m not sure when it happened, but there came a point in my life that I had forgotten what it meant to dream big.  I felt like I had to be “realistic” & “responsible” about everything.  And all the longing & desire that once burned inside of me just sort of went dim.

I stopped allowing myself to “go there” – to that beautiful place where anything is possible.  I gave in to the fear & rationalized playing it safe.

This was not a sustainable way of living.

I was in complete “dis-ease”.

Thankfully, I finally woke up & I just knew that without a doubt there was so much more to life than this.

Hallelujah!  Hooray!  Yippee!  Whoop!  Whoop!

Today I’m happy to report that I’m in a completely different place & I’m just bursting at the seams with gratitude.

For me, I had to realize that living the life that I’ve always dreamed of did not come from anything outside of myself – not the job, the car, or the house.  It’s not where I’ve been or what I do.  It’s not who I’m with or how much money I make.

It’s just me.  My heart.  My soul.  My true, authentic, vulnerable, & creative self.

I learned that my dis-ease was because I had a massive craving to play bigger, to go deeper & to shine brighter.

What does success truly mean to you?

I have been fortunate enough to surround myself with a community of courageous & creative women who have also said, “Hell Yes!” to living a more meaningful  & abundant life.

These lady entrepreneurs are fiercely stepping into their light & letting their flame burn bright!  Yes!  Yes!  Yes!

The Breakthrough Method

I had the privilege of participating in & photographing a life transforming event called The Breakthrough Method.  This event was held at the beautiful Locket space in the SODO district that boasted high ceilings & enormous windows that revealed sweeping views of the Seattle Skyline.  It was such an inspiring space; a photographers dream.

The Breakthrough Method is the brainchild of Creative Entrepreneur/ Freedom Seeker Lynda Lopez.

Her dream was to bring together a circle of heart centered, creative, & inspired women who would support each other & “Break Through” to their next level of being.
