Challenge:
Erin Turner began her business as a family and portrait photographer, but quickly burned out on chasing clients. She discovered personal branding photography and discovered how lucrative this niche could be for scaling her business.
Erin wanted to rebrand and shift her business to work with entrepreneurs and small businesses charging a premium price and working with fewer clients while making the competition irrelevant.
Strategy:
We went deep into the mind of her ideal client to really understand their deepest fears and desires. Our goal was to really understand the problems that her ideal client was facing so that we could help solve them better. We honed in on what the transformation would be for her ideal client if she chose to work with Erin.
Design:
We wanted Erin’s design to feel stylish, modern, authentic and feminine.
Our mood images reflect the color story that was already in place when began our work together. We suggest starting with the mood before creating the logo design, but in this case the logo was already developed.
To create consistency and a strong foundation we always start with understanding who you’re targeting and building a brand that’s tailored specifically with them in mind.
Results:
We developed a beautiful brand targeting a niche market that is easy to understand and breaks through all the noise of what other photographers are doing in the industry. This brand is doing more than selling a service, Story + Social is selling a transformation.
